These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to all customers and users of Cornish Jewellery Studios' website and services, including the purchase of handmade jewellery, booking of jewellery classes, and hiring of bench space. By placing an order or booking a service, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Us
Cornish Jewellery Studios is based at Krowji creative space, Redruth, Cornwall, England. All jewellery sold is handmade in our studios. As such, slight variations may occur between product photographs and the actual items received.
2. Products and Handmade Nature
All items are individually handmade, so slight variations in colour, texture, or finish may occur. We do our best to represent products accurately on our website, but images are illustrative only and are not guaranteed to reflect the exact item received.
3. Ordering and Payment

Orders can be placed online through our website.

Payments must be made in full at the time of ordering or booking.

We accept payment by credit/debit card, PayPal, and other secure online methods.
4. Delivery

We dispatch items within the timeframes stated on each product page.

Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are provided at checkout.

We are not liable for delays due to postal or courier services.
5. Cancellations and Returns – Jewellery Purchases
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (UK):

You have the right to cancel your online order within **14 days** of receiving your item, without giving a reason.

You must return the item in its original condition within 14 days of notifying us.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

You are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty.

Bespoke or personalised items are **non-refundable**, unless faulty.
6. Booking Jewellery Classes and Bench Hire

All in-person class bookings and bench hire must be made in advance via our website.

Full payment is required at the time of booking.

You may cancel a class or bench hire up to 14 days after booking and more than 7 days before the class to receive a full refund.

Cancellations after 14 days of booking or made less than 7 days before the class or session will **not be refunded**.

If we cancel a class or session, you will be offered a full refund or reschedule.
7. Studio Health and Safety

When attending classes or using studio facilities, all users must follow our **Health and Safety Guidelines**.

These include proper use of tools, handling of hazardous substances, and wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE) where required.

We reserve the right to refuse studio access to anyone failing to comply with these guidelines.
8. Liability

We are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage arising from misuse of products or failure to follow instructions or safety guidance during in-person sessions.

Our liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the product or service.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, designs, and branding, is the property of Cornish Jewellery Studios and may not be copied or reused without written permission.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Studio Time Policy, Terms & Conditions
Eligibility
To purchase independent studio time, you must have either:
- Successfully attended a previous course at our studios, or
- Be able to demonstrate basic jewellery-making skills, including but not limited to soldering and simple cutting with a piercing saw.
Independent studio time is intended for competent makers wishing to work on their own projects. Whilst a member of staff will be present to offer occasional advice if needed, no formal teaching is included.
Health and Safety
All health and safety procedures must be strictly adhered to at all times. This includes, but is not limited to:
- No open-toe footwear permitted in the studio.
- Long hair must be securely tied back.
- Loose or floaty clothing, particularly sleeves, must not be worn.
- All studio safety instructions given by staff must be followed immediately.
Failure to comply with health and safety rules may result in removal from the studio without refund.
Booking and Usage
- Studio time must be used within three months from the start date of your booking.
- Studio time is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another person.
- Unused studio time after the three-month period will be forfeited.
General Terms
- You must work independently and responsibly.
- Use of equipment and materials must be respectful and safe.
- Any damage to studio equipment caused by negligence may incur repair or replacement charges.
- The studio reserves the right to refuse further bookings to any individual who does not adhere to these terms.
By purchasing studio time, you agree to abide by all the terms and conditions outlined above.
